How Ultimate Countdown Works

Players race to buzz in and identify as many correct answers as possible before the countdown lights reach green.

The Question Is Asked

The host reads a question with two to eight correct answers — buttons are released and anyone can buzz in first.

Buzz In and Answer

The first player to buzz in gives an answer — correct responses earn points, wrong answers deduct points.

Start the Countdown

Lights flash RED, YELLOW, YELLOW, GREEN… when green hits, buttons are released again and the race restarts.

Reveal and Move On

Play continues until all correct answers are found — any remaining answers are revealed before the next question.
